They say managing lawyers is like herding cats – the implication being that lawyers are difficult to manage and ignore all management instructions.
I beg to disagree.
For most senior lawyers recruitment is a part of the job. I would say that recruitment is absolutely ‘mission critical’.
The future of every business lies with the people it recruits and therefore if you want your team or organisation to be on a path of continual improvement it follows that you need to recruit people who are potentially more talented than yourself.
